Job Description

As the Receiving Leadperson, you will be responsible for supervising lift truck operators, ensuring correct order processing, and overseeing shift safety. Physical requirements include lifting cones of yarn, standing for extended periods, and reaching and bending during the shift. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math skills, computer knowledge, and lift truck operation experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise lift truck operators and ensure efficient operations.
  • Identify and resolve order discrepancies.
  • Learn and perform duties as a Receiving Clerk.
  • Conduct general lift truck maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure accurate completion of assigned orders and yarn receipt.
  • Oversee shift safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prompt reporting of all accidents.
  • Adherence to safety equipment guidelines.
  • Ability to report any issues to management promptly.
  • Commitment to qualify and safety standards in work output.

This job may involve wearing safety equipment and adherence to safety guidelines at all times. In addition, the Receiving Leadperson should be proactive in addressing any quality, safety, or potential issues encountered during the job.
