Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements

• Offl load trailer, local vendor and offl island vendor shipments
• Oversee stockroom organization to ensure inverntory accuracy
• Maintains the DSD (Direct Store Delivery) receiving system ensuring all merchandise received is processed through the system
• Assists in establishing and maintaining delivery windows for vendors and ensure all credits are processed before any inbound freight is received
• Must be certified on all power equipment and assist in training and developing other processing associates
• Maintains all company safety and sanitation standards and adheres to all federal, state and local laws
• Performs supervisory responsibilities, including, but not limited to: making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting, and terminating; conducting performance appraisals; and coaching and developing associates
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Strong reading, writing, verbal and arithmetic skills
• Retail experience, processing center experience or equivalent
• Ability to lift and moves merchandise and supplies, typically a minimum of 40lbs, but could be as much as 100lbs
• Repetitive standing, bending, walking, lifting, stretching and reaching
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
• Must be 18 years of age or older
