Job Location: GHRA Warehouse - HOUSTON, TX 77036
Position Type: Full Time
Salary Range: $18.00 Hourly

General Summary:
Reports to the Receiving Supervisor
The Receiving Lead will primarily be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day activities of the Receiving department.
Primary Responsibility:
The primary responsibilities of the Receiving Lead position are to be responsible for the efficient flow, tracking, and accuracy of all deliveries and transfers coming in and out of the warehouse and distribution center. This includes any/all deliveries and all related processes and paperwork
Major Responsibilities:
The major responsibilities for this position include:
• Maintain a culture of safety
- Ensure all inbound Trucks/merchandise is checked to ensure correct delivery location and product
• Ensure all inbound merchandise is checked for damage and expiration
- Unload and load trucks in safe manner
• Receive, breakdown, and sort inbound merchandise
• Ensure bill of laden is accurate, edited to reflect quantity received, and notated for damages or other exceptions.
• Operate a Forklift, Dolley and/or pallet jack safely and efficiently
• Separate line items in preparation for receiving and processing
• Ensure incoming product is properly received into system
- Create pallet modulars for incoming product
- Establish and assign a warehouse location for each pallet modules
• Ensure all paperwork is organized, accurate, and deliver to the purchasing department.
Other Responsibilities:
- Follow the proper procedures for all inter-warehouse transfers from the main warehouse to the Ardmore location
• Ensure all damages are identified, notated, and photographed according to the receiving department policy
• Ensure that the receiving department and receiving docks are kept safe and clean
• Keep pallets locations and rack storage organized
• Establish and maintain good stock rotation
• Perform periodically location inspections
• Report unsafe acts

QualificationsMinimum Requirements
- 7:00am required start time
- Ability to communicate, relate well, and aid in the work of others
- High attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
- Ability to solve problems, work independently, and check accuracy
- Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint working knowledge
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business
Physical Requirements:
- Must wear proper PPE at all times while
- be able to perform standing or sitting for extend period of times
- Able to lift/push a minimum of 50 lbs.
