As part of Detection and Measurement’s Aids to Navigation, Flash Technology is a leading provider of aviation obstruction lighting and monitoring solutions, including specialized LED and xenon obstruction lighting. Serving the telecommunications, broadcast, wind energy, airport, and utilities markets, we help monitor critical infrastructure and help people traverse the world safely by air.

Responsibilities: The Receiving Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the Receiving Department. This role ensures the accurate and timely processing of incoming shipments, maintains inventory accuracy, and leads a team to achieve departmental goals.

Duties:

  • Lead the Receiving team, providing guidance and support.
  • Coordinate and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of all shipments and receipts.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve any shipping or receiving issues.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols.
  • Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving reports and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage international shipments as needed

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Moderate computer skills, including proficiency in using ERP systems (preferably SAP).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to train and lead others will little to no supervision

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in receiving, or warehouse role
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Fork truck experience

Work Environment:

Work is performed in a climate-controlled production assembly environment working under normal production conditions.

  • Lifting to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Sitting, standing, walking, bending, grasping, pushing, pulling, crawling, climbing, twisting, reaching, and working at heights.
  • Perform repetitive motions.
