Receiving Inspector
Aero Design is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiving Inspector to join our team. This role is responsible for managing incoming deliveries, verifying documentation, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting the movement of materials within our manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Receive and process all incoming deliveries, including raw materials, RMA parts, repair articles, and other shipments. Perform preliminary review of receiving documentation and part paperwork. Review and manage open purchase orders. Verify packing slips, part counts, and quantities received against purchase orders. Assist in sorting and processing nonconforming materials. Work within the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system and collaborate with the Accounting Department to accurately receive inventory into the Aero Design system. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the receiving and logistics functions.
Qualifications
Education High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
Experience
At least 2 years of receiving, warehouse, logistics, or inventory control experience.
Experience working with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to review documentation and reconcile shipment discrepancies.
Preferred Qualifications
Hazmat and/or DOT training or certifications are a plus.
Experience in an aerospace, manufacturing, or industrial environment is highly desirable.
