Quanex is seeking a Receiving Coordinator to join our team in Orwell, Ohio. This role reports directly to the Plant Manager.

The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for organizing finished product, loading trucks, and transferring materials to and from machining centers. To receive product into E21/ERP system in a timely manner, verify all material matches the Pack list to physically receiving paperwork.

Hourly Rate: $$21.05- $30.00/hr. pay based on experience w/ possible increase after a 90-Day Performance Evaluation.

Schedule: 8- hour shifts- Monday- Friday 7:00am-3:30pm; overtime as needed

What Success Looks Like:

This description represents the most significant job duties but does not exclude other work duties that may be assigned as needed.

• Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notifies the supervisor of any existing or potential safety issues.
• Work within E21/ERP system and have good working knowledge of computers in general. (excel, Word, Microsoft office/email)
• Follows all standard operating procedures and notifies the supervisor of potential procedural improvements.
• Maintain knowledge of information, such as issues regarding transfers of inventory and checking transfer status and inventory availability.
• Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly completes all documentation related to this position; i.e., production reports, accurate time keeping, etc.
• Monitors scheduling board to determine when trucks will arrive.
• Check finished goods to/from previous shift.
• Operate all forklifts to properly load, transport and unload stock, parts and materials.
• Load/unload trucks with /raw material and finished goods in a safe and secure fashion.
• Maintain accurate, complete records of all materials received in.
• Unload trucks delivering material, verifies the receipt of the goods, and signs packing slips.
• Transfer materials to and from salvage areas.
• Meet or exceed the production standards for the position.
• Transfer finished product to packaging area.
• Creates material labels using the label printer.
• Complete Bill of Landing and creates shipping list on computer for shipments.
• Perform related work as required.
• Cooperates with and supports co-workers and gets involved as a team player.
• Maintains a positive attitude and willingness to grow.

Qualifications:

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of related warehouse and inventory experience.
• 6 months forklift experience; ability to pass OSHA required practical and written exams
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive work requiring high levels of concentration.
• Working knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills, with emphasis to details.
• Proven ability to perform detailed work requiring high levels of concentration.
