Job Description

Pay Rate: $21.00 an hour

Monday - Friday 6:00am-2:00pm

Receive and deliver products; and process returns, invoices, damaged goods and back orders for all material types. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive and deliver shipments (except cash)
  • Verify shipments received are the correct items, quantities, and cost
  • Maintain accurate inventory and rotate stock items by bin location
  • Complete computer transactions (i.e. sales orders, returns, UPS documents, etc.)
  • Maintain an accurate log of inventory items
  • Maintain warehouse equipment (i.e. forklift, dock leveler, pallet jacks, etc.)
  • Coordinate incoming shipments, including special events (i.e. concerts and sales shows)
  • Keep warehouse organized and clean

KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge and Certification

Required:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in the safe use and operation of warehouse equipment

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of food and beverage warehousing and safety
  • Knowledge of inventory control (i.e. First In First Out (FIFO) and Cycle Counts)
  • Knowledge of receiving products
  • Forklift Certification

REQUIRED TRAINING

  • Treasure Island guest service training
  • Training needed to obtain and maintain Forklift Certification
  • Inventory control system application
  • Any position-related training as determined by department manager

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to walk and / or stand or sit for long periods throughout the day
  • Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel and stoop
  • Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects routinely
  • Must be able to reach and twist frequently
  • Must have the ability to independently lift up to 50 pounds routinely
  • Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
  • Must have good eye hand coordination
  • Must be able to operate foot pedals

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Work is performed in the Warehouse and throughout the property including the gaming floor, which has flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke; outdoors and extreme temperatures
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including, weekends and holidays
  • Computer use
  • Occasionally overtime may be required
  • Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals
