The Receiving Clerk willbe responsible forordering and receiving all orders to ensure proper intake of items ordered and storage of those shipments. This role will contribute to the organization as an active business partner thatis responsible forsupporting the company's goals,objectives, vision, mission, and values.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Major areas of responsibility/ management include, but are not limitedto

• Receives various orders either non-consumable or Food & Beverage,

• Checks for quantity, quality, breakage

• Compares packing lists and invoices with purchase orders produced by either the

Purchasing Manager and the Lead Storeroom Clerk.

• Completes a credit memo for any returns or breakage.

• Directs deliveries to various departments and/or individuals on a pre-set delivery

schedule

• Receives all incoming package deliveries from UPS, FedEx, DHL,etcand records incoming

appropriatelyand accurately.

• Verifies named receiving individuals orguestvia the Opera system.

• Processes all outgoing shipping and post all charges within the Opera system.

• Completes a daily receiving report and distributes accordingly.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Degree or equivalent

• Mustpossessintermediate computer skills

• Previous shipping and receiving experience

• Must be able to speak, read,writeand understand English

PREFERRED

• Luxury hotel experience strongly preferred

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Forklift certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work in extreme temperatures like freezers (-10°F) and kitchens (+110°F),possibly foronehour or more. Position requires walking, must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in lengthLengthof time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task. Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach different outlets and other departments of the Resort ona timelybasis. Must be able to bend, stoop,squatand stretch to fulfill tasks.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.Must be able to liftodd shapedboxes and containersfrequently Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. occasionally. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing,listeningand hearing ability and visual acuity. Talking and hearing occur continuouslyin the process of communicatingwith guests,supervisorsand subordinates. Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception. Requires manual dexterity to use andoperateall necessary equipment.
