Under general supervision, the CLERK II - RECEIVING (DIETARY) receives and makes sure all external deliveries are in good condition. Creates and maintains proper documentation for all delivers in a computerized System. Delivers or co-ordinates deliveries of all supplies to proper areas, including mail. Fills in in other areas when deemed necessary.
Ordering:
• Responsible for ordering product and supplies from external vendors.
• Requires a ServSafe certification to provide essential food safety knowledge that reduces foodborne illnesses, ensures compliance with local health regulations and enhances professional credibility.
Delivery Receipt, Distribution and Return:
• Inspects and signs for external shipments to main campus verifying address, quality, quantity, and accuracy.
• Through a computerized system, verifies shipment and creates proper documentation, reporting any issues to department and purchasing.
• Sorts, delivers, or coordinates deliveries of products to proper area or unit including mail. Helps put up storeroom stock.
• Prepares and ship out all returns creating proper paperwork or computerized documentation.
• Makes emergency deliveries or pickups of supplies from offsite locations or vendors.

Equipment:
• Operates and maintains dock equipment, including a fork lift.
Other duties as assigned:
• Feels in in other areas when deemed necessary.
• Maintains clean work area.
Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED. | Required: Valid Driver’s License. ServSafe Food Handler Certification. ServSafe Manager Certification. | Minimum Required: 7 - 11 Months equivalent experience.
