Job Description

At Kimpton Sevn Dubai, operational excellence begins long before a guest experiences the hotel.

Every ingredient, beverage, operating supply, amenity, piece of equipment, and consumable entering the hotel must be received accurately, controlled carefully, stored correctly, and made available to the teams who bring the guest experience to life.

We are seeking a Receiving Clerk cum Storekeeper who combines attention to detail, strong organisation, and a disciplined approach to receiving and inventory control.

Reporting to the Cluster Director of Finance & Business Support, you will play an important role in protecting the accuracy and integrity of the hotel's purchasing, receiving, stores, and inventory processes.

You will be a key connection between Procurement, Finance, suppliers, and hotel operations—ensuring that every delivery is properly checked, documented, stored, and controlled.

One Delivery. One Record. One Shared Standard.

At Kimpton Sevn Dubai, strong inventory control is built through accuracy, discipline, and teamwork.

As Receiving Clerk cum Storekeeper, you are responsible for ensuring:

• Quantities, quality, specifications, condition, and expiry dates are properly verified
• Goods received are accurately recorded in the relevant system
• Stock is stored correctly, safely, and systematically
• All stock issues and movements are properly documented
• Discrepancies are identified and reported promptly
• Receiving and storage areas remain clean, organised, and secure
• Finance and operational teams have reliable inventory information

You are a key control point in the hotel's inventory cycle.

Why This Role Matters

Every item received represents a financial commitment and an operational requirement.

As Receiving Clerk cum Storekeeper, you will:

• Ensure goods are received only against appropriate documentation and approved requirements
• Protect the hotel from shortages, over-deliveries, damage, expiry, and unnecessary wastage
• Maintain accurate receiving and inventory records
• Support physical stock counts and inventory reconciliation
• Ensure stock is issued correctly and against authorised requisitions
• Apply FIFO/FEFO principles where applicable
• Support Finance with accurate information for inventory control and reporting
• Maintain strong documentation for audit and compliance purposes

Your accuracy protects both the hotel's inventory and its financial integrity.

Be the Control Behind Operational Excellence

You are organised, reliable, detail-focused, and comfortable working with both physical products and administrative records.

• Check every delivery with care and attention to detail
• Maintain accurate records of goods received and issued
• Keep stock organised and easy to identify
• Monitor product condition, expiry dates, and storage requirements
• Communicate discrepancies clearly and promptly

In this role, you will:
