Job Description

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality. This role involves unloading deliveries, checking packing slips against purchase orders, documenting discrepancies, and stocking items in the appropriate locations. The Receiver also ensures inventory is properly labeled, stored, and organized while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Essential Functions:

1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
2. Performs responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders/invoices. Stamp all orders using a date/time stamp.
4. Unload deliveries and ensure proper handling of materials.
5. Document discrepancies and report damaged or missing items.
6. Label, organize, and store inventory in designated locations following first in/first out method.
7. Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding shipments.
8. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, carts, and truck.
9. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe clean working environment.
10. Collect signatures for all deliveries to departments and turn in paperwork to inventory control.
11. Conduct inventory of warehouse stock on a daily and monthly basis.
12. Understand how to read and use MSDS booklet.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
2. Ability to operate office equipment and warehouse equipment such as manual and electrical.
3. Know proper rotation procedures, including but not limited to the first in/first out (FIFO) method.
4. Must have valid Driver's License in the state in which the property is located.
5. Must be at least 21 years of age.
6. Must have basic math skills.
7. Must be able obtain a food handler certificate.

1. Standing: up to 7 hours/day for 88% of the shift
2. Walking: up to 7 hours/day for 88% of the shift
3. Sitting: up to 1 hours/day for 13% of shift
4. Bending: up to 2 hours/day for 25% of shift
5. Twisting: up to 2 hours/day for 25% of shift
6. Climbing, including ladders: up to 2 hours/day for 25% of shift
7. Kneeling: up to 2 hours/day for 25% of shift
8. Squatting up to 2 hours/day for 25% of shift
9. Lift/Cary/Push/Pull: up to 7 hours/day for 88% of the shift anywhere between 25-100 Ibs
10. Reaching above the shoulders and other hand arm use: 1 hours/day for 13% of shift
11. Operating/driving warehouse equipment: up to 2 hours/day for 25% of shift

Pay Rate

$23.50/Hour
