Teknion Custom Solutions is looking for a Receiver who understands that high-quality furniture starts at the loading dock. If you are someone who takes pride in ensuring every piece of material, from raw wood to specialty hardware, is perfect before it hits the production floor, we want to hear from you.
The receiver's responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, and reviewing vendor materials to facilitate the production of high-quality wood office furniture. The receiver contributes to the production team by communicating with co-workers and vendors on incoming or outstanding material purchases while adhering to production timelines.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
This physically demanding role requires that the incumbent must be capable of frequently lifting and moving materials weighing up to 50 lbs, as well as standing and walking for extended periods of up to 8 hours daily.
