The Rec & Proofing Analyst 1 is a trainee professional role responsible for supporting daily reconciliation activities across market-related products, including ETD and OTC reconciliation processes. The role requires a good understanding of reconciliation processes, procedures, controls, and systems used to complete assigned tasks, along with a basic understanding of the underlying business concepts and principles.
The candidate is expected to support reconciliation activities for market products, including trade, position, cash, client money, non-segregated, intercompany, and exception management processes, as applicable. Basic knowledge of ETD / OTC business flows, market operations, and trade lifecycle concepts will be preferred, as the role involves working closely with business partners, operations teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reconciliation outcomes.
The role also requires working knowledge of reconciliation platforms such as TLM, along with strong Excel skills to support data review, investigation, reporting, and exception analysis. Familiarity with Copilot or other AI-enabled tools will be an added advantage, especially for improving productivity, summarizing information, identifying patterns, and supporting process efficiency within approved control and governance guidelines.

They are expected to make evaluative judgments based on factual information, identify issues, and select appropriate solutions by applying acquired technical knowledge, training, and guidance from established precedents.
The candidate must be able to communicate information in a clear, concise, and logical manner, while being sensitive to audience diversity and stakeholder expectations. The role has a direct but limited impact on the business through the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of tasks performed. The impact of the job holder is primarily restricted to their own responsibilities, with a strong focus on execution quality, control discipline, and timely exception resolution.
