Tinker Federal Credit Union’s Real Estate Lending department has an immediate opening for a Real Estate Funder! This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the nation’s leading credit unions! As a Real Estate Funder, you will be responsible for the following:

• Managing a personal pipeline of short-term and long-term real estate loan fundings, ensuring loans are funded efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with organizational standards, investor requirements, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Coordinates the funding process with closers, settlement agents, title companies, and internal business partners; disburses loan proceeds; and conducts post-closing quality reviews to ensure the completeness and accuracy of loan documentation prior to delivery to servicing or post-closing functions.
• Delivering exceptional member service while supporting operational excellence and ensuring compliance with credit union policies, investor requirements, and all applicable state and federal regulations

Salary Range:

This is a non-exempt/exempt position. The starting hourly rate is $22.20; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.

Schedule

Normally works a weekday schedule, but may be required to work evenings, holidays, or weekends.

Education/Experience:

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent and two years applicable work experience in a closely related position is required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU’s chosen authority.
• Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing (SAFE) Act registration required.

In order to be successful as a Real Estate Funder you must possess these qualifications:

1. Ability to exercise sound judgment, analyze information, and make effective decisions in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
2. Demonstrates strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
3. Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively with members, settlement agents, title companies, attorneys, and internal business partners regarding loan funding activities and mortgage related processes.
4. Knowledge of mortgage loan documentation, funding procedures, investor requirements, and applicable state and federal regulations.
5. Knowledge of privacy requirements, confidentiality standards, information security practices, and departmental policies and procedures.
6. Knowledge of TFCU products and services, Mission, Values, and Code of Ethics.
7. Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast paced, high volume, multi-channel environment utilizing virtual collaboration and business technology tools.
8. Ability to identify, research, and resolve funding discrepancies, documentation exceptions, and operational issues while maintaining a high level of member service.
