Job Description

The Ready Mix Concrete Truck Driver is responsible for safely delivering ready-mix concrete to designated job sites. The starting pay begins at $28 per hour, with the opportunity to earn up to $40 per hour with shift differentials. • $28-$32 per hour based on experience
• Plus $8 per hour shift differential

Essential Function:

1. Perform daily pre-trip inspection and preventative maintenance of vehicle.

2. Complete daily truck inspection list.

3. Operate ready mix truck.

4. Drive to job sites to deliver material.

5. Report to dispatcher any job conditions and test results to improve production and promote safety.

6. Keep assigned unit clean. Request time for cleaning as needed. Trucks are rolling advertisements.

7. Safe operation of vehicle.

8. Customer satisfaction.

9. Record test results and time on daily tickets.

10. Efficient use of work time.

11. Communicate to dispatcher jobsite information.

Requirements

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

· Class B CDL required

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Ready Mix Truck Driving Experience
