This role manages and ensures compliance with all training activities, at both sites under the Navel Test Wing Pacific (NTWP) contract, enforces standards through administrative actions, if required, and facilitates effective communication between both locations to achieve strategic objectives and operational efficiency. The Training Manager will have direct supervisory authority over daily training operations and will serve as a central point of contact between Site Management and maintenance personnel to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct oversight and coordinate with maintenance personnel and other supervisors on the contract to ensure Readiness Insight (RI), Corner Stone, and Government Training Databases are maintained in up-to-date status.
Oversee daily operations at two aviation facilities, ensuring alignment with government and company training policies, and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, and conduct routine audits as required to ensure contract compliance
Collaborate directly with Quality Assurance and Program Managers to ensure all training requirements adhere to compliance standards, and recommend administrative action to the Site and Program Manager for any employees who fail to comply with these standards
Manage site resources, scheduling of personnel training requirements, and workflow to optimize performance on the contract. Develop and enforce safety protocols and operational procedures to maintain a safe working environment through adherence to training and standardization. Serve as the main Training and Readiness point of contact between both sites and organizational leadership. Serve as the key supervisory representative with the government on all external training audits. Lead, mentor, and develop site staff to maintain high levels of professionalism and efficiency. Monitor budgetary expenditures and participate in financial planning for both locations. Coordinate maintenance schedules, equipment needs, and logistics to support operational readiness and training requirements across the program. Liaise with customers, vendors, and regulatory agencies as required. Prepare and present regular operational reports and performance metrics to Program Management, as required.
Required
Possess a valid US State driver's license
Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance
High School degree or equivalent
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Navy aviation-related field, with a minimum of 2 years direct supervisory experience in the Navy Aviation training environment
Must be able to lift to 20 pounds
Must have experience as an ASM fleet coordinator or RI administrator

Salary Range - $110,000 to $120,000
