React JS Lead

Technology Skills (Mandatory):

Strong skills React JS, Typescript, JavaScript(ES6+), Modern testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)

State management tools like Redux, Context API, or Zustand

Translate architectural designs into technical implementation plans

Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).

Experience in performance tooling, cross browser solution implementations

Experience consuming REST APIs and integrating with backend services Goo

Working knowledge of CMS usage (e.g., Contentful) and CDN behavior

Technology Skills (Good To Have):

NextJS

Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG)

Working knowledge of cloud deployment on platforms like Azure or Vercel

General

6-8 years of front-end development experience, with 2+ years in a lead or senior role.

Should have lead small teams of 4-6 people as a technical lead

Highly experience working in Agile Scrum environment (global teams) and tools like JIRA

Experience: 6-8 yrs

Responsibilities:

Translate architectural designs into technical implementation plans.

Lead the day-to-day execution of features using React, Next.js, and supporting tools.

Guide and mentor developers on best practices, performance tuning, and design patterns.

Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI teams, and backend engineers to align on feature scope and delivery timelines.

Review code and ensure compliance with architectural standards.

Proactively identify blockers and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve them.

Ensure adequate test coverage and lead QA/UAT support.

Coordinate DevOps aspects such as build pipeline (CI/CD), deployment on Azure or Vercel, and performance monitoring.

Participate in sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Stay current with front-end advancements and assess integration opportunities.

Requirements:

6+ years of front-end development experience, with 2+ years in a lead or senior role.

Strong React and JavaScript (ES6+) skills; familiarity with Next.js preferred.

Experience consuming REST APIs and integrating with backend services.

Deep understanding of Git, branching strategies, and agile workflows.

Experience with CMS platforms (Contentful preferred), CDN, and performance tooling.

Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG), cross-browser testing, and modern testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).

Experience deploying apps to Azure or Vercel.

Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 52,000

Maximum Compensation: USD 182,000

Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.

This position is available for independent contractors
