Embark on a transformative journey as a React Developer, where you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering intuitive, scalable and high‑performance user interfaces for critical business applications. You will be a key contributor in building modern frontend solutions using React.js, focusing on user experience, performance, accessibility and maintainability. Working closely with product owners, designers, backend engineers and stakeholders, you will help define UI architecture, implement reusable components and ensure seamless integration with backend services. You will collaborate to translate business requirements into responsive and interactive user experiences, contributing to component design, state management and overall front-end engineering practices. Leading by example, you will drive best practices in code quality, performance optimisation, and UI design patterns, while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, security requirements and agile delivery methodologies.
To be successful as a React Developer, you should have experience with:
• Strong hands-on experience in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Building scalable, reusable and high-performance UI components.
• State management libraries such as Redux / Context API.
• Developing responsive and accessible web applications.
• Integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI frameworks.
• Writing clean, maintainable and testable code following best practices.
• Performance optimisation techniques for frontend applications.
• Participating in design discussions, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
Some highly valued skills may include:
• Experience with TypeScript and advanced React patterns (hooks, context, custom hooks).
• Exposure to frontend architecture and design (component-driven architecture).
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with micro-frontend architecture.
• Cloud platform exposure (AWS preferred).
• Prior experience in banking or financial services domain.
