Are you passionate about clean energy and financial excellence? Join our team in Colombia and help drive the global energy transition.

At Hitachi Energy, we are building a more sustainable energy future. Our renewable energy portfolio is growing fast — and we need a skilled finance professional to help shape it.

In this role, you will work side by side with project teams, engineers, and business leaders. You will turn financial data into insights that guide real investment decisions. Your work will directly impact projects that matter — for our clients, for Colombia, and for the planet.

This is a high-visibility role. You will engage with internal stakeholders and external partners such as investors and lenders. You will grow your expertise in project finance, financial modeling, and the renewable energy sector.

If you are analytical, collaborative, and ready to make an impact — this role is for you.

How you'll make an impact

  • Prepare and analyze financial forecasts, budgets, and business plans for renewable energy projects.

  • Build financial models and conduct sensitivity analysis to evaluate project viability.

  • Monitor project performance against financial targets and propose corrective actions.

  • Prepare financial reports for internal stakeholders, investors, and lenders.

  • Support due diligence for new renewable energy investments and acquisitions.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and IFRS standards.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and legal teams on financial matters.

  • Participate in contract negotiations from a financial perspective.

  • Research renewable energy financing trends and identify new opportunities.

  • Support the improvement of financial processes and systems.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, project finance, or a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and project economics.

  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Solid understanding of IFRS accounting standards.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Fluency in Spanish; intermediate English proficiency required.

More about us

We offer a collaborative and inclusive environment where your ideas are heard and your growth is supported.

  • Flexible working arrangements.

  • Career development and continuous learning opportunities.

  • A diverse and inclusive team culture.

  • The chance to work on meaningful renewable energy projects across Latin America.
