The Operations Specialist provides administrative, operational, and program support to the R&D Operations (RDO) organization. This role supports the RDO Operations Manager, to help coordinate day-to-day operational activities, maintain organizational processes, track key actions and deliverables, and support communication and reporting needs across the organization.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide operational and administrative support for RDO programs, initiatives, and organizational activities.

  • Coordinate meetings, events, site visits, and logistics, including scheduling, agendas, materials, and follow-up actions.

  • Maintain action-item trackers, project documentation, department records, and operational resources.

  • Support preparation of presentations, communications, reports, and meeting materials for leadership and team meetings.

  • Compile, organize, and maintain operational data, metrics, and reporting information.

  • Assist with budget tracking, purchase requests, travel coordination, and event planning activities.

  • Support safety initiatives by tracking actions, maintaining records, and coordinating communications.

  • Monitor assigned tasks and deliverables to ensure timely completion and follow-up with stakeholders as needed.

  • Maintain and improve standard operating procedures, templates, and operational documentation.

  • Serve as a point of contact for routine operational inquiries and coordination requests.

  • Executive support of R&D leadership team members.

What Skills You Need:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Communications, or a related field preferred.

  • 2–4 years of experience in operations support, project coordination, administration, or a related role.

  • Experience supporting multiple teams, projects, or organizational programs is preferred.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and reporting tools.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

  • Strong collaboration and customer service mindset.

  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
