Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Intern to support the design, simulation, and testing of power electronic systems. This internship offers hands-on exposure to converter design, hardware development, and laboratory validation, making it ideal for students passionate about electrical systems and modern power electronics applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of power electronic circuits such as DC–DC converters, inverters, and rectifiers.
  • Perform simulation and modeling using tools like MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or LTspice
  • Support electrical analysis of components, circuits, and system-level performance.
  • Collaborate on PCB design and layout for power electronics hardware.
  • Conduct testing, debugging, and validation of prototypes in a lab environment.
  • Document design workflows, test methodologies, experimental data, and prepare clear technical reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Pursuing M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields
  • Strong understanding of power electronics fundamentals—switching devices, converters, inverter topologies, magnetics, etc.
  • Hands-on familiarity with simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or LTspice.
  • Basic knowledge of control systems and embedded programming (C/C++)
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Exposure to power semiconductor devices, gate drivers, and thermal considerations.
  • Experience with hardware testing, oscilloscopes, power analysers, and other lab instruments.
  • Understanding of PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, Or CAD).
