Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented intern to join our Materials Engineering team. This role will support ongoing and new initiatives related to materials innovation, analysis, and testing. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about material science, product engineering, and hands-on experimentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support new materials development by assisting in research, experimentation, and prototype material trials.
  • Perform analytical studies and testing using equipment’s such as spectroscopy, microscopy, thermal and mechanical testing equipment (as applicable).
  • Perform analytical testing using tools such as spectroscopy, microscopy, thermal and mechanical testing equipment (as applicable).
  • Conduct material characterization, generate test reports, and document findings accurately.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand material requirements and evaluate material performance.
  • Assist in maintaining lab equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities by identifying opportunities for material optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Pursuing M.Tech in Materials Engineering.
  • Basic knowledge of analytical tools, material properties, and testing methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to learn, experiment, and work in a lab/testing environment.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Exposure to tools such as SEM, XRD, DSC, TGA, UTM, or similar analytical/testing equipment.
  • Prior project or academic work related to materials development or material characterization
