This Position reports to:

Your Role and Responsibilities
Lead test bench operations and coordinate R&D testing activities, ensuring continuous availability and compliance with ABB Wind product validation requirements.
Report test bench operational status to PC&V on a regular basis.
Supervise the creation and maintenance of operation and maintenance manuals.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for the test bench (availability, functionality, performance).
Manage test bench rental and expansion proposals, including billing oversight.
Coordinate subcontractor engagement for test bench modifications (in collaboration with PC)
Train test bench operators on technical specifications, bench limitations, and test requirements.
Provide technical troubleshooting support during test execution.
Manage SCADA system maintenance and support.
Oversee Reinosa test bench operations and coordinate inter-site activities.
Develop and track budget forecasts, identifying future resource needs and resource allocation requirements; submit forecasts to R&D management.
Procure test bench materials and monitor expenditure tracking.
Maintain spare parts inventory levels.

Qualifications for the Role
Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or assimilable education.
At least 3 years of experience in a job similar to the one described
Knowledge in key tools, software, and skills:
SCADA systems
LabVIEW
Python
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Project Planning/Scheduling tools
Maintenance and inventory management systems
Budget tracking and forecasting tools
Required Competencies and Skills:
Teamwork – coordination with subcontractors, operators, and cross-site teams
Leadership and Influencing Skills – supervising operators and driving improvements
Critical Thinking and Problem Solving – technical troubleshooting and continuous improvement
Effective Communication – reporting to management and coordinating activities

English: B1 (Intermediate): Can manage familiar situations and express simple opinions.
