Job Description

A leading confectionery manufacturer in Dubais Jebel Ali Free Zone is seeking an experienced R&D Technologist to drive innovation across biscuits, chocolates, and wafers. This full-time role involves leading new product development from concept to launch, optimizing formulations, and ensuring successful scale-up for production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food science, hands-on experience with confectionery R&D, and a deep understanding of ingredient functionality and processing techniques. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the technologist will ensure product quality, compliance, and market relevance while supporting the company's vision of becoming a regional hub for confectionery innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Drive product innovation from concept to commercialization.
• Conduct lab trials and full-scale production tests.
• Optimize formulations for cost, taste, and shelf life.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and documentation.

Requirements:

• Degree in Food Technology or related field.
• 3+ years' experience in NPD, preferably in confectionery.
• Familiarity with sensory evaluation, shelf-life testing, and food trends.

Salary Range:

AED 12,000 - 21,000
