Assay Development NGS, in theHighplexdepartment withinRnD, has the main responsibility to develop immunoassays forOlink'sHighplexproducts and to evaluate assay performance throughout development projects. The team is highly involved in new product introduction projects(“NPI projects),which are carried out with members from other departments.

We are now looking to hire an R&D Tech Lead whois responsible forleading product design and development activitieswithin a cross-functionalNPIproject teamin accordance withtheThermoFisher ProjectCommercialization model.The role ensures that customer requirements are translated into robust productrequirementsandthat design outputs meet defined specifications, timelines, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Drivethe execution, coordination, and integration of product design activitiesperformedby theR&D Extended team,ensuringtimelyandhigh-qualitydeliverables.

• Translate customer needs into product requirements and deliver compliant design outputs

• Coordinate validation and verification activities within development projects.

• Manage technical risks, issues, and escalations in collaboration with cross-functional teams

• Participate incross-functional planning, decision-making, and risk management

Required Qualifications

• PhDinLife Sciences,Engineering,,or related field

• Several years of proven experience in product development and R&D environmentsExperience of immunoassayproduct developmentisadvantageous

• Strong understanding of:

• Product development lifecycle

• Design control processes

• Cross-functional projectexecutionDemonstratedability to lead technical teams and complex projects

• Effective communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Ability to manage complexity and dependencies across disciplines

• Risk management and prioritization

• Strong technical understandingof immunoassays,qPCRand NGS isadvantageous

• Experience ofmanaging validation activities as well as knowledge of validation requirementsand regulations isadvantageous

• Fluent in English, Swedish skills is a plus
