R&D Senior Member of Technical Staff, Product Development

Position: R&D Senior Member of Technical Staff

Location: Cambridge, UK – Hybrid (~60% office, ~40% remote)

Employment type: Full-Time Regular ( flexible working options available)

The Job

As part of the E&D Foundations – Common Framework development group, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the functional core utilised by several AVEVA products such as – E3D Design, Engineering and Unified Engineering. You will work in a scrum team contributing to consistent delivery and modernisation of our products’ extensive feature set.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop and implement functional features as per Product Owner requests.

· Analyse, investigate and debug issues found both internally (by the team) and externally (by customers).

· Drive quality throughout our product by taking the initiative on automated testing, architectural refactoring, and communal best practices.

· Demonstrate sound decision making on individual and team workloads to ensure it is delivered in a timely manner.

Desired Experience

From most to least important:

· Confidence in one (or more) of the following languages: C++, Fortran, C#.

· Comfortable with source control systems (GIT) and automated build pipelines (Azure DevOps).

· Practices Agile and Scrum methodologies

Hybrid working
