For our R&D team in Nehren (Tübingen area) we are looking for an R&D Scientist Assay Development (m/f/d).

Responsibilities

  • Development of molecular genetic test systems according to ISO 9001/13485
  • Supervision of development projects from the planning phase to handover to production and QC
  • Documentation of development projects according to our quality management system
  • Supervision of evaluation studies
  • Guidance of technical personnel
  • Presentation of the development work

Qualifications

  • University or technical college degree (biology, microbiology, biochemistry or biotechnology)
  • Experience with quantitative real-time PCR and/or multi-channel/multiplex PCR
  • Experience with automated DNA/RNA extraction processes
  • Microbiological background and experience in dealing with microorganisms of risk group 2 according to § 44 of the IfSG (Infection Protection Act) is an advantage
  • Open and communicative personality

  • Goal orientation and willingness to assume responsibility
  • Ability to work in a team and high motivation
  • Dedication and resilience
  • Ability to navigate differing opinions and perspectives in a constructive and solution-oriented manner
  • Very good knowledge of English and IT
