Your role

As a Project Manager (m/f/d), you will provide business and execution leadership for one or more exciting R&D projects. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and risks while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across all functions and levels of management to ensure effective communication and successful project delivery.

What you'll be doing

  • Be accountable for core team performance, program schedule and execution, budget commitments and spending
  • Lead the team in defining program strategies, developing goals, and orchestrating team appraisal process
  • Provide clear direction on product lifecycle management requirements to meet the expectations of external customers and business stakeholders
  • Interact through program updates and reviews with all functions and levels of management ensuring effective ongoing communications across teams and stakeholders
  • Ensure the identification and communication of project risks, development of risk plans and proactive management of risk response strategies
  • Anticipate potential conflict situations for proactive solutions and manage conflict situations to result in win-win outcomes
  • Maximize business results through continuous improvement in organization's ability to execute programs from identification through implementation

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s or MBA degree
  • PMI/PMP, IPMA or equivalent certification preferred
  • 10 years of product lifecycle experience
  • 5 years of project management experience in a highly regulated environment, with demonstrated success in leading multi-site projects
  • Ideally solid understanding of medical device product lifecycle (ISO 13485 and FDA QS Regulation 21 CFR Part 820)
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to manage cross-functional teams simultaneously in a matrix environment
  • Expertise in all aspects of program management
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across functions and leadership levels
  • A self-motivated, collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to analyze and solve complex problems through innovative thinking and experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
