We are looking for an experienced software project and program leader to drive key initiatives in Nokia’s Product & Engineering – Subscriber Signaling and Policy (SSP) organization. You will drive challenging Core Networks projects across Research and Development (R&D) teams.
You’ll be a strong people leader and communicator, confident in engaging senior stakeholders, negotiating effectively, and working in wireless/telecom. If you are proactive, innovative, and eager to contribute to Nokia SSP’s 5G success story, this role allows you to shape scalable, high-impact products.
Drive Core Network software projects within Nokia SSP, ensuring end-to-end delivery.
Manage and mentor a high-performing team of developers and testers.
Apply Agile (SAFe) and Continuous Delivery practices in cloud-native environments.
Manage technical solutions for 3G/4G/5G Core Networks, including HLR, HSS, UDM, EIR, and 3GPP standards.
Oversee functional testing (Python/ROBOT) or development (C++/design patterns) for scalable solutions.
Monitor metrics and KPIs to track progress, mitigate risks, and drive improvements.
Partnering with cross-functional and multisite teams, including supplier partners, leveraging Docker and Kubernetes.
You-Have
10+ years of software project and program management experience, with expertise in Core Networks (CN) tools and methodologies.
Ability to partner and work in a high-performing environment.
Solid understanding of Telecom/Core Network domains and wireless technologies, including subscriber, signaling, or policy areas.
Skilled in using metrics and KPIs to derive insights, drive decisions, and improve team and project performance.
Experienced in managing supplier partners, team development, and cross-site Research & Development (R&D) collaboration.
Nice-to-Have
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leaders.
Proactive, innovative, and adaptable approach, with a problem-solving mindset, customer focus, and ambition to contribute to SSP’s 5G success story.
