Identification, exploration and implementation of technology / product development and growth strategies to enhance and secure global positioning. How you’ll make an impact
Serve as a technology expert specializing in transformer insulation drying, fluid treatment, and fluid filling processes—including impregnation—by conducting experiments and collaborating with R&D teams and manufacturing units to deepen the understanding of the physics and dynamics behind industrial processes.
Contribute technological insights to enhance transformer quality and optimize process efficiency, with a focus on minimizing process-related failures.
Support R&D initiatives and testing efforts aimed at advancing automation and digitalization across various processing stages.
Identify, propose, and develop technological improvements for processing workflows, and assist Global Operations teams and factories in their successful implementation.
Demonstrate strong collaboration skills by working effectively within global, cross-functional project teams comprising engineers and scientists from diverse disciplines.
Participate in feasibility studies, propose technical solutions, and design products, collaborating with teams to deliver simulation approaches. Communicate results via comprehensive reports, specifications, and educational materials to facilitate knowledge dissemination.
Evaluate and enhance production processes, offering expert advice to manufacturing facilities, and support factory operations as needed. Collaborate with global research scientists, technology centers, managers, customers, and academic partners.
Contribute to intellectual property activities by participating in IP discussions, preparing clearance reports, and identifying potential risks associated with R&D tasks.

Your background
PhD or masters with research experience in industry in the areas of Material Science/ Chemical/ industrial technologies
Minimum of 5 years of R&D experience in industrial processes involving drying, fluid treatment, and vacuum technologies. Prior experience in the transformer industry is a plus.
Hands-on experience in experimental validation and implementation of new process technologies.
Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in modern tools for process monitoring, simulation, and digitalization.
Demonstrated interest and ability to work across interdisciplinary topics.
Familiarity with CAD modelling software such as CREO or similar software is advantageous.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively within international and remote teams, with excellent interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel to manufacturing sites as required.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
