Job Description

Mission

As part of the Agile transformation of Proton Therapy R&D, you will lead a multidisciplinary team who contributes to the development of solutions for our Imaging System.

As R&D People Manager, your primary focus will be to create the conditions in which people can grow, collaborate, and perform at their best. You will be responsible for team engagement, talent development, cohesion, and overall operational effectiveness, while supporting the team through organizational and Agile transformations.

  • Lead, coach, and develop team members
  • Build a sustainable team (recruitment, onboarding, staffing, retention)
  • Foster ownership, autonomy, and accountability within the team
  • Ensure an environment that supports reliable delivery (capacity, workload, planning)
  • Facilitate collaboration with Product Owner (prioritization), Scrum Master (Agile practices), and technical stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment with other Talent Managers and system/component teams
  • Support the adoption and maturity of Agile practices
  • Drive improvements in team performance, collaboration, and delivery efficiency
  • Promote strong engineering and quality practices
  • Contribute to cross-team initiatives and communities of practice
  • Contribute to broader organizational improvements

  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to make decisions, arbitrate when needed, and ensure consistency in execution
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of French is an asset

Experience working in a technical or Agile environment is highly valued, as it will help you understand the team’s context and support its members effectively.

The total guaranteed annual compensation range (which includes annual base salary, as well as flexible budget if applicable) for this position is provided below:

Total gross guaranteed annual compensation range: 62900 - 95500 €

The salary range indicated above is provided in compliance with applicable pay transparency requirements and reflects the typical compensation scope for this position based on the role's level of responsibility, required expertise, and location. The actual offer will be determined on an individual basis, taking into account objective and gender-neutral factors including relevant professional experience, qualifications, specific competencies, and internal equity. The range does not constitute a guaranteed salary and is subject to adjustment based on the final assessment of the selected candidate's profile. The role might also qualify for additional compensation elements such as variable pay, profit sharing, and benefits which are not reflected in this range
