What are we looking for?

We are looking for a graduate to join the Checkmarx DevOps group. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing Checkmarx Cloud Production environments. You will own and drive production incidents from initiation to resolution, leading war-room efforts and collaborating with relevant teams to ensure rapid mitigation.

You will gain significant hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies such as Kubernetes (K8S), and work with advanced dashboards and monitoring tools like Kibana and Grafana. In addition, you will have the opportunity to practice and enhance your scripting and coding skills

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in Cloud Operations, NOC, DevOps, SRE, or a related technical role (including relevant internships or military/academic experience)
• Ready to work in a mandatory rotational night shift (12 PM till 8 AM IST). The second shift will be 8 AM to 5 PM IST with rotational weekend support.
• Basic hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and containerized applications (deployment, logs, troubleshooting fundamentals)
• Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and core concepts such as compute, networking, and storage
• Exposure to monitoring and observability tools like Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, or similar
• Understanding of production environments and eagerness to learn incident management processes and on-call best practices
• Basic troubleshooting skills and a strong desire to learn how distributed systems work
• Some experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar), even at a beginner level
• Familiarity with Linux fundamentals (processes, logs, networking basics)
• Fluent English and the ability to work well in a team-oriented
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent - Must
