Job Description

As the R&D Operation Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the R&D operations within our department. Your primary focus will be on managing budgets, controlling expenditures, and driving strategies to align with our site OPEX/CAPEX plans. You will be responsible for publishing cost dashboards, providing insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient budget management.

  • Drive and manage the R&D business operating program budget, ensuring alignment with targets in the site OPEX/CAPEX plan.
  • Publish monthly cost dashboards, providing detailed insights, and identifying risks and opportunities for efficient budget management.
  • Sanity check and validate monthly headcount actuals, highlighting any discrepancies to the relevant RPOs.
  • Manage and optimize BU capex expenditure for R&D programs, ensuring effective utilization of resources.
  • Collaborate with procurement and 3rd party management teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement processes.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships, fostering collaboration between R&D, finance, and other relevant departments.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas of improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree in R&D Operations Management, engineering or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in R&D operations/program management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Proficiency in OPEX/CAPEX management tools, Actual Machine (Redbox data), and other relevant software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong partnerships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
