Contribute to the R&D Microbiology department’s ability to develop new and support existing products and timely completion of projects by performing routine tasks and may be a part of more complex experiments.
Handles chemicals and liquid preparations common in microbiology laboratory setting.
Prepares protocols and summary reports.
Handles biological samples converted into human blood.
Uses aseptic technique to process bacterial samples.
Works independently to execute routine microbiology and molecular biology laboratory tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
Under the supervision of more senior R&D staff, perform routine experiments.
Reasonable, reliable attendance and punctuality is an essential job functions required for this position.
Perform data collection and interpretation.
Performs data collection and accurate documentation.
Works with senior R&D staff, the individual will plan, prioritize and complete assigned activities.
Write protocols.
Write reports.
Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Training and Experience
Currently pursuing a B.S. or higher in Microbiology, health-related profession, biomedical technology or molecular science. ( Must have completed 1 year of BS coursework)
