An Overview of the Role

You will be part of the global medical function within P&G's world-class leading Research & Development organization. In this role, you can look forward in providing strategic direction and leadership in medical and technical affairs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving the success for our Philippines Personal Healthcare (PHC) business.

This position is for a Country Manager based in the Philippines. We are seeking a candidate with a strong healthcare industry background, extensive medical expertise, and outstanding leadership skills. In this role, you will establish and nurture strong partnerships with multifunctional teams at both country and regional levels. By leveraging your technical proficiency, you will drive innovation, scientific advancements, and cultivate relationships with external healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Medical Strategy Development: Develop and implement the medical strategy in alignment with the company's overall objectives, ensuring it meets the specific needs of the country.

  • Medical Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant local regulations, guidelines, and industry standards, provide leadership to ensure adherence to all medical requirements.

  • Key Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, regulatory authorities, medical associations, and opinion leaders.

  • Medical Leadership: Serve as a go-to medical expert, providing expert advice, insights, and guidance related to our products and innovations.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various departments, including marketing, sales, regulatory affairs, and R&D, to provide medical input, support product development, and ensure effective communication of medical information to internal teams.

  • Medical Education and Training: Develop and deliver medical education and training programs for internal teams, external stakeholders, and healthcare professionals to enhance their understanding of our products and therapeutic areas.

  • Medical Communications: Oversee the development of medical and scientific communications, including publications, presentations, and educational materials, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications

Role Requirements

  • Medical degree, MD or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-3 years in medical affairs, or related roles within the Pharm/ healthcare industry.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience managing teams and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at various levels.
