· Lead the design and development of the Motor Gear Unit (MGU) from prototype to serial production.
· Ensure the integration of mechanical, electrical, and electronic interfaces within the actuator housing. Work closely with the project team to ensure also the integration of the sub-assembly Motor Gear Unit (MGU) into the final product.
· Manage the 3D/2D design in collaboration with CAD designers, component selection, and definition of manufacturing and assembly specifications within simultaneous engineering team.
· Perform tolerance analysis, stack-up calculations
· Coordinate internal activities with project management, hardware, systems, safety, quality, purchasing, and industrialization teams.
· Interface with prototype and serial suppliers for technical discussions, feasibility analysis, and design-for-manufacturing.
· Support the validation plan, prototype build phases, and problem-solving during testing and production ramp-up.
· Ensure design compliance with system-level requirements, safety standards, and reliability targets.
· Contribute to continuous improvement and lessons-learned capitalization within the mechatronics R&D community.
