Bosch first started in Vietnam with a representative office in 1994. Bosch has its main office in Ho Chi Minh City, with branch offices in Hanoi and Da Nang, and a Powertrain Solutions plant in the Dong Nai province to manufacture push belt for continuously variable transmissions (CVT) in automobiles. In addition, Bosch operates a software and engineering solutions from product engineering, tool development & automation as well as testing & validation solutions (Bosch Global Software Technologies Vietnam).

In July 2014, Bosch set up a new Automotive R&D Center, located in Ho Chi Minh City. The continuous growth of this Centre is in line with Bosch’s strategy in Vietnam, which aims at becoming a manufacturing and R&D hub in the Southeast Asian region. Currently four products are available: connectors, push belt, fuel supply, and diagnosis module (tank leakage).

Full‑Stack Java Developer

• Work as part of an agile Scrum team with developers and product owners in Vietnam and Europe.
• Develop and maintain internal web applications used by global engineering teams.
• Work primarily with Java, integrating with various REST APIs, and building features using the Nette framework (or similar).
• Develop frontend components using JavaScript.
• Store and manage data using MS SQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Deploy applications in a containerized Kubernetes environment.
• Write clean, testable code and maintain high development standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and deliver high‑quality solutions.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT or a programming‑related field.
• Experience in Java development; familiarity with Nette or other backend frameworks is an advantage.
• Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases (MySQL, MS SQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis…).
• Advanced English communication skills for collaboration with global stakeholders.
• A team‑oriented mindset with willingness to learn and grow.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Strong proficiency in Java and backend development.
• Experience with REST API integration.
• Good understanding of JavaScript for frontend tasks.
• Experience with MS SQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Knowledge of containerized deployment, preferably using Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and writing automated tests.
• Experience with containerization tools (Docker) is a plus.
