To strengthen our dedicated team, we are looking for a motivated professional in the field of Vision & Web-Technologies. Your contribution will enable our customers to use our product better, easier, and more efficiently. You are passionate to lead and develop SCRUM teams under your responsibility? You like to solve challenges in collaboration with internal and external customers and our agile development teams? Then we are looking for you!

YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • the overall output of your team as well as for the product features in the areas of competence covered by the team members, planning of personnel, resources, and priorities within the group including the monitoring and checking of effort booking for correctness and completeness
  • providing the appropriate project accounts
  • disciplinary management (vacation planning and preparation for approval by department management, employee appraisals, support during job interviews, motivator and first contact person in case of problems)
  • continuous guidance, coaching and support of team members
  • negotiating the feature backlog and prioritization with stakeholders
  • managing suppliers providing software components and/or tools around your group´s competence

NEED TO HAVE

  • Knowledge of software development processes and agile methods
  • Basic programming knowledge in at least one object-oriented programming language or in at least one state-of-the-art web programming/scripting language (e.g.: TypeScript, JavaScript, PHP, etc.)
  • Solid MS Office skills
  • Techniques in moderation
  • Leadership and teamwork skills
  • Organizational skills / time management
  • Stress resistance and ability to improvise
  • High affinity to user experience including state of the art “look & feel” of visualizations and screens on different devices and device types (e.g.: mobile devices)
  • Structured, team-oriented way of working
  • Higher Technical Education Institute, University of Applied Sciences or Technical University degree in automation or information technology
  • Advanced English and German language skills (written and spoken)

NICE TO HAVE

  • 2 to 3 years of experience with programming- and scripting languages like TypeScript, JavaScript, C++ or frontend-technologies like HTML, XML, JSON and CSS
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in leading a software development team in the SCADA industry
  • Experience with WinCC OA
  • Basic knowledge of web technology and web architecture
  • Experience in high-quality UI design, as well as user experience

Compensation: This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for IT (KV IT / ST2). We offer a minimum gross monthly salary of € 4,700.- (based on 38.5h/week), with a readiness for overpayment depending on your specific qualifications and professional experience.
