
As an R&D Engineer/Scientist I at Honeywell Aerospace, you will help shape the future of flight.
You will develop next-generation navigation technologies for today's commercial aircraft and tomorrow's air taxis and advanced air mobility solutions.
You will report directly to our Research and Development Manager and work from our Brno, Czech Republic location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will drive innovation, develop new technologies, and collaborate with global teams to solve complex aviation challenges.

Electronic Solutions develops the avionics, navigation systems, sensors and electromagnetic defense technology that help aircraft perform safely and with precision. Our systems are on board 90% of the world's aircraft — serving commercial aviation, defense and space operators from integrated flight deck platforms with 30-plus years in service to radiation-hardened systems trusted for human spaceflight.
YOU MUST HAVE
WE VALUE
• Completed PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science,
• Communications Engineering, Applied Mathematics or Physics Science or related fields
• Knowledge of AI or AI algorithms
• Demonstrated passion for innovation and continuous learning
• Good communication skills (both written and oral)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
• Knowledge of programming language (e.g., Python, C/C++, Simulink)
• Knowledge of electronics or electronics design
• Proficiency in numerical methods and estimation theory (e.g., least squares, Bayesian estimation)
