The Position

At Roche, we are passionate about transforming patients’ lives through innovation in diagnostics. As part of our Start Tech Program, we are looking for a motivated recent graduate to join our team in Sant Cugat and contribute to cutting-edge diagnostic development.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic laboratory environment while working alongside experienced professionals in the field.

Your Responsibilities

As a Start Tech Graduate Intern, you will support the development of diagnostic solutions and contribute to laboratory operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Participating in the development of diagnostic assays, including clotting, enzymatic, and immunological methods

• Independently supporting the execution of analytical experiments, including data analysis, interpretation, and presentation of results

• Assisting in the planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of development activities, including literature research

• Contributing to general laboratory tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

• Taking responsibility for the proper use and maintenance of assigned laboratory equipment

What We Are Looking For

• Recent graduate in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field

• Strong interest in diagnostics and laboratory-based research

• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Good communication skills and willingness to learn
