Job Description

The R&D Engineer will support the development and optimization of membrane films for textile applications. This includes hands-on experimentation, testing, and collaboration with production teams to bring lab concepts into scalable, real-world products. You will help build and improve next-generation films used in outerwear, footwear, uniforms, and other technical fabrics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in lab-scale film development and testing
• Support formulation trials using various polymeric or textile-compatible materials
• Conduct performance testing: air permeability, hydrostatic resistance, MVTR (moisture vapor), etc.
• Record experimental data, analyze results, and recommend next steps
• Coordinate with manufacturing and quality assurance teams to scale successful prototypes
• Help adapt film properties to meet the needs of different clients or product categories

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field
• Strong foundation in materials or polymer science
• Previous experience or internship in film, membrane, coating, or textile development is a plus
• High attention to detail, data-driven, and organized
• Eager to learn and work in a collaborative R&D environment
• Must be willing to work full-time on-site in Cavite
