The Opportunity

You will join Hitachi Energy’s global Technology team in Blumenau, contributing to the development of distribution transformer projects. You will support R&D deliveries by preparing models, drawings, and designs, following prototype manufacturing and testing, and collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure high‑quality outcomes.

How You Will Make an Impact — Mechanical

You propose innovative mechanical solutions for distribution transformers.
You analyze technical requirements and define experiments to validate solutions.
You develop mechanical designs and oversee prototype manufacturing and testing.
You lead R&D project execution with focus on performance, schedule, and cost.
You document results and convert validated findings into design rules.
You support R&D colleagues by optimizing structural or thermal designs.
You provide technical assistance to factories, sales teams, and customers when needed.
You are responsible for ensuring compliance with internal and external standards, procedures, and applicable guidelines.

How You Will Make an Impact — Electrical

You propose innovative electrical solutions for distribution transformers.
You analyze technical requirements and define experiments to validate designs.
You develop electrical designs and oversee prototype manufacturing and testing.
You lead R&D projects, ensuring expected performance, timelines, and costs.

Your Profile

You hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
You have experience in developing or designing industrial equipment.
You have worked on transformer‑related projects (preferred).
You demonstrate initiative, creativity, and strong attention to detail.
You collaborate effectively and contribute to team‑based problem‑solving.
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
