Join our Next Generation Grids Transformers team in Lodz and shape the future of energy. As an R&D Electrical Engineer, you will work oncutting-edgedistributiontransformer technologies in a dynamic, international environment.

You’llbe part of a collaborative global team, contributing to the full R&D lifecycle—from concept to testing and product launch, ensuring that our solutions meet both technical specifications and market demands. This role offers hands-on experience, technical growth, and the chance to make a real impactinthe energy transition.

Howyou'llmake an impact:

  • Propose and analyze innovative ideas in the electrical design and optimization of next generation distribution transformers to fulfill the challenging technical requirements for new markets.

  • Organize prototyping and testing activities tovalidatenew technologiesproducts by interacting with engineering and manufacturing departmentsglobally.

  • Take ownership of work packages and deliver results using a structured approach

  • Document your work effectively, obtainconclusionsand derive the design rules of the validated solutions.

  • Engage constructivelyand collaboratein global team settings, sharing your technical knowledge to support colleagues in achievingtimelyand high-quality results.

  • Contribute to intellectual property and risk management activities in R&D

  • Provide technical support to factories,salesand customers.

Your Background:

  • MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering or similar, ideally with experience in R&D within a business environment

  • Experience in electrical design of transformers is a plus.

  • Knowledge of magnetic,dielectricand/or thermal design

  • Background in use of electrical FEM simulation is a plus

  • Analytical thinking and ability to work independently and collaboratively within interdisciplinary and international teams

  • Strong communicationskills in English

  • Awareness of business processes related to product development
