Who We Are...

We are a pharmaceutical company committed to producing high-quality, safe, and effective medicines in accordance with applicable regulatory and quality standards. Our operations depend on robust scientific expertise, reliable laboratory services, strong technical governance, and a culture of quality across every stage of manufacturing and product release.

Position Overview

We are seeking an organized and proactive R&D Coordinator to oversee communication and coordination across product development. This role serves as the primary liaison between R&D and departments such as Marketing, Purchasing, Compliance, Manufacturing, and Sales, ensuring that product updates, formulation changes, timelines, and launch decisions are communicated effectively.

The ideal candidate has experience coordinating product development in a regulated industry, strong project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining accurate documentation and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Lifecycle Coordination

  • Coordinate products from initial concept and formulation through testing, sampling, manufacturing, and launch.
  • Track product development timelines, milestones, formulation changes, and launch readiness.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure new and existing formulations meet product and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor product samples, testing results, and Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
  • Identify potential delays, production issues, and compliance concerns, escalating them to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Maintain visibility into active, discontinued, and upcoming product lines.

Cross-Functional Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between R&D and Marketing, Purchasing, Compliance, Manufacturing, and Sales.
  • Communicate formulation updates, product changes, project timelines, and development decisions in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with vendors and manufacturing partners regarding product status, quotes, and production schedules.
  • Ensure Purchasing has advance visibility into upcoming material, packaging, and vendor requirements.
  • Share product sampling results and customer feedback with relevant teams to support product improvements.
  • Identify communication gaps and ensure all relevant stakeholders are aligned throughout development.

Project Tracking & Documentation

  • Maintain project tracking systems and product development boards to provide real-time visibility into ongoing projects.
  • Document formulation iterations, product testing results, development decisions, and project outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of product status, ownership, timelines, and discontinuation decisions.
  • Track regulatory changes that may affect existing or upcoming products and communicate potential risks.
  • Maintain decision logs and relevant R&D documentation.
  • Support resource planning by monitoring project workloads and identifying potential bottlenecks.

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Support the development and improvement of product intake, tracking, and launch processes.
  • Ensure product development activities follow established procedures and documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate with Compliance and Analytical teams to identify testing and regulatory requirements early in development.
  • Flag incomplete product samples, testing requirements, or documentation before manufacturing begins.
  • Help improve communication and coordination between departments to reduce delays and unnecessary rework.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating product development from concept through launch in a regulated consumer products industry.
  • Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of product formulation, testing, and quality requirements.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, timelines, and competing priorities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities.
  • Proficiency in Monday or a comparable project management platform.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
