Ethicon was founded more than 80 years ago as a pioneer in suture development and manufacturing, helping to transform the safety and effectiveness of open surgery. The Ethicon business offers a broad range of products, platforms and technologies including—sutures, hemostasis products, surgical staplers, trocars, energy devices and synthetic mesh devices—that are used in a wide variety of minimally-invasive and open surgical procedures. Ethicon, Inc.—a member of Johnson & Johnson’s family of companies located in Raritan, NJ—is recruiting for a 2027 co-op in the area of Wound Closure and Healing. In this role, the Co-op/Intern will join a collaborative team of scientists and engineers which support new product development aimed at addressing unmet needs in wound closure with particular emphasis on antibacterial technologies and cardiovascular surgery.

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The expected pay range for this position is between $23.50 per hour and $52.50 per hour but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. Co-Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension).
