Job Description

Bosch first started in Vietnam with a representative office in 1994. Bosch has its main office in Ho Chi Minh City, with branch offices in Hanoi and Da Nang, and a Powertrain Solutions plant in the Dong Nai province to manufacture push belt for continuously variable transmissions (CVT) in automobiles. In addition, Bosch operates a software and engineering solutions from product engineering, tool development & automation as well as testing & validation solutions (Bosch Global Software Technologies Vietnam).

In July 2014, Bosch set up a new Automotive R&D Center, located in Ho Chi Minh City. The continuous growth of this Centre is in line with Bosch’s strategy in Vietnam, which aims at becoming a manufacturing and R&D hub in the Southeast Asian region. Currently four products are available: connectors, push belt, fuel supply, and diagnosis module (tank leakage).

• Design, develop, and optimize ML/DL models for tabular data, computer vision, NLP, and LLM-based applications.
• Lead development of computer vision systems such as
• Build AI-powered document understanding and information extraction pipelines across PDF, Excel, PowerPoint, scanned documents, and web content.
• Develop conversational AI and chatbot solutions for global R&D teams.
• Implement MLOps pipelines for deployment, monitoring, retraining, and CI/CD.
• Integrate AI models into enterprise applications in collaboration with backend and software engineering teams.
• Evaluate models using advanced metrics and optimize for performance, robustness, and scalability. - Support automation initiatives for testing and production workflows.
• Mentor junior engineers, interns
• Participate in agile discussion and manage deliverables via Azure DevOps or similar system.
• Communicate regularly with international stakeholders in Vietnam and Europe to align requirements, progress, and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• 2+ years of industry experience in AI/ML, computer vision, or data science (Senior profile preferred).
• Demonstrated experience delivering production-grade AI/ML models.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with ML/DL frameworks
• Solid experience in computer vision
• Expertise in building NLP and LLM-based applications.
• Understanding of feature engineering, model optimization, and evaluation techniques.
