RCM Billing Charges Associate Level 1:

Job Title: RCM Billing Charges Associate (Entry Level)

The RCM Billing Charges Associate Level 1 is responsible for basic tasks related to charge entry and billing within the revenue cycle management process. They primarily focus on accurately entering charges into the billing system and may assist with initiating payer calls for routine inquiries.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter charges into the billing system based on provided documentation.
  • Review charge documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • Ensure charges are billed in accordance with payer guidelines and regulations.
  • Initiate payer calls for routine billing inquiries and follow-ups.
  • Assist in resolving basic billing discrepancies and coding issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate charge entry.
  • Maintain organized records of charge entry activities.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of medical billing procedures.
  • Familiarity with billing software and data entry.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
