
We are seeking an experienced RCM Static Equipment Engineer (Subject Matter Expert) to lead and support Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) initiatives for static equipment assets. The role focuses on improving asset reliability, integrity, availability, and lifecycle performance of critical static equipment through structured RCM methodology in accordance with SAE JA1011 / JA1012 standards on large-scale industrial projects
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and execute RCM studies for static equipment in compliance with SAE JA1011 / JA1012 standards.
• Apply the seven RCM questions to identify appropriate maintenance strategies for static assets.
• Develop reliability strategies to maximize performance of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, reactors, furnaces, tanks, piping systems, valves, and pipelines.
• Conduct FMEA / FMECA and RCA for static equipment failures, corrosion mechanisms, and integrity threats.
• Analyze failure data, inspection reports, and degradation mechanisms such as corrosion, erosion, fatigue, and fouling.
• Calculate MTBF and define optimized Preventive Maintenance (PM) and inspection frequencies.
• Develop and optimize maintenance and inspection plans (PMs) to reduce downtime and lifecycle costs.
• Lead RCM and FMECA workshops involving operations, maintenance, inspection, and engineering teams.
• Train and mentor static equipment engineers and inspectors on RCM methodology and reliability best practices.
• Utilize RCM software (GE APM Meridium) and CMMS systems (SAP) for reliability analysis, inspection planning, and documentation.
• Support asset integrity management, RBI integration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in static equipment maintenance, inspection, integrity, or reliability engineering.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience applying RCM methodology in accordance with SAE JA1011 / JA1012 standards.
• Proven experience working on large-scale industrial or EPC projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of static equipment design, inspection, and failure mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience with GE APM Meridium and SAP CMMS.
• CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) certification is mandatory.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills.
