About the Role
Neolytix is a US-focused healthcare managed services organization. We’re looking for an RCM MIS & Reporting Analyst who sits at the intersection of revenue cycle operations and reporting — someone who understands how RCM works (AR, denials, payment posting, charge posting) and can turn that operational data into clean, reliable MIS reports and dashboards.
This is a data-savvy operations profile, not a data-engineering role. Advanced Excel is essential; working knowledge of Power BI, basic SQL, and Python is a plus. The ideal person can pull data together from multiple trackers and system exports, make sure the numbers are right, and present them clearly to operations leads and management.
Key Responsibilities
MIS & Reporting
  • Build and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and dashboards for RCM operations (AR, denials, payment posting, charge posting).
  • Consolidate and integrate data from multiple trackers and sources into clean, unified reports.
  • Track key RCM metrics — AR aging, denial rates, collections, productivity — and highlight trends and exceptions.
  • Prepare and present performance data to operations leads and stakeholders in a clear, decision-ready format.
Data Handling & Analysis
  • Clean, validate, and reconcile operational data to ensure accuracy before reporting.
  • Run data exports from EHR / practice-management systems (Advanced MD, athenahealth, eCW, or similar) and build the data feeds/pipelines that power reporting.
  • Use advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and macros where needed) to structure and analyze large datasets.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and visuals in Power BI (or similar) for management visibility.
  • Support ad-hoc data requests and analysis from operations and leadership.
Collaboration & Process
  • Work closely with RCM operations teams (AR, denials, posting) to understand reporting needs and data sources.
  • Help standardize reporting formats, templates, and refresh routines.
  • Flag data-quality issues and suggest ways to make recurring reporting faster and cleaner.
What You Bring
Must-Have
  • 1–3 years in an MIS, reporting, or analyst role within Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) or a healthcare BPO/KPO.
  • Solid understanding of RCM processes — AR, denials, payment posting, charge posting — and the key metrics that matter.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP, formulas, data cleanup). This is essential.
  • Familiarity with EHR / practice-management systems (e.g., Advanced MD, athenahealth, eCW) to run data exports and pull reporting data.
  • Ability to consolidate, structure, and present data clearly to operational stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a validation mindset — making sure numbers are accurate before they go out.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong Preference
  • Working knowledge of Power BI (or a similar BI tool) for dashboards and visualization.
  • Exposure to basic SQL for pulling and querying data.
Nice-to-Have
  • Knowledge of Python is a plus (for automating reports or data preparation).
  • Experience with RCM platforms or practice-management systems.
  • Familiarity with automating or streamlining recurring reports.
