Statement of the Position:

This position supports RCM Leadership in daily operations of the MIR team, including the training and coaching of staff. The role also collaborates with other department Leaders to ensure operational procedures are completed in accordance with company policy and within expected timeframes by providing actionable feedback and educational opportunities. Strong time management, organizational skills, and adaptability are essential for success in this position.

Duties and Responsibilities / Essential Functions:

1. Supervises daily MIR team activities, making certain that all necessary MIR functions are handled timely and in accordance with National Seating & Mobility compliance policies and procedures.

2. Assist in hiring, training, mentoring, performance, continuous education, and career development of the MIR Team.

3. Motivates and inspires team members.

4. Perform routine auditing to assist in identifying coaching opportunities; Ensures the performance of staff is of a high standard.

5. Assist in development of SOP’s, training materials, guides and progress reporting.

6. Monitor and review productivity metrics and measure team against them.

7. Demonstrate ability to analyze information and think critically.

8. Work collaboratively with all NSM departments to assist and achieve results.

9. Collaborate with offshore MIR team and assist to resolve issues/provide feedback.

10. Performs any related duties assigned by the RCM Director. Carries out all position expectations in a professional manner and with minimal supervision.

11. Must maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Work Environment:

This job operates primarily in a work from home environment. The work from home policy and requirements must be adhered to. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands repetitively to operate standard office equipment. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.

Required Education, Experience & Competencies:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. Required, College Degree Preferred

• Drug Test

• Knowledge of government payer regulations desired

• Extensive working knowledge of Funding, Billing and Collections for Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial payers

• Good oral, written and communication skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft suite products

• Proven record of excellent people skills including good communication and inter-personal skills

• Strong leadership skills

• Strong Team Player

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of staff

• Basic understanding of and willingness to learn and adopt professional and industry business standards/needs.
